This is a light streusel for use on baked goods such as blueberry muffins or kolaches. Not much else to say here.
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup soft butter
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon, ceylon cinnamon if you have it
Put all ingredients in a bowl. Mash with a fork until it turns into streusel.
This recipe makes a lot of streusel. Fortunately it keeps marvelously in the freezer, and you can use it straight from there. Just scrape up what you need with a fork and sprinkle it on.
